Following the successful hosting of ASSAf webinars entitled “Understanding the implication of financial cuts from the USA on research in South Africa” and “Science, leadership and ethics in times of geopolitical crises”, the Academy received several positive responses on hosting these webinars and engaging the South African research community on these issues.
