DESCRIPTION:Tozama Qwebani-Ogunleye will focus on SAYAS as the voice of young scientists in South Africa. She will discuss how the youth\, through SAYAS\, can contribute towards solutions to society’s challenges\, influence policy decisions and contribute towards the development of scientific capacity in South Africa. \nSudesh Sivarasu will give his views on the role of the youth in contributing to the advancement of STI in addressing challenges in South Africa. He will investigate why the involvement of the youth is so important for STI and what could make STI more appealing to Millennials\, Gen Zs and possibly the Gen Alphas. \n
