ASSAf invites you to a workshop on The State of Biosafety and Biosecurity in the SADC Region

This two-day workshop follows the release (in 2015) of the ASSAf consensus report The State of Biosafety and Biosecurity in South Africa (http://research.assaf.org.za/handle/20.500.11911/58). The workshop will bring together scientists, policymakers, non-government representatives and other key role players from the SADC region.

The key objectives for this workshop will be:
1 To discuss issues of biosafety and biosecurity importance for the region,
2 To strengthen existing collaborations/networks and establish new ones,
3 To exchange information and knowledge, and,
4 To pave the way forward.
